Stoicheia is a dual gate sequencer published under the GNU GPL v2 as Open Source and Open-source hardware.[1]

Hardware

It uses an Atmel AVR microcontroller and is programmed the same as an Arduino Diecimila. It's has an USB interface, left and right 8 step sequence outputs, which can be chained and left and right clock inputs.[1]

Operation

It's operates as a Euclidean sequencer, based on the 2005 paper by Godfried T. Toussaint "The Euclidean Algorithm Generates Traditional Musical Rhythms"[1]
