MOS Technology SID: Difference between revisions

Since 6581 and 8580 SID ICs[[IC]]s are no longer produced, they have become highly sought after. In late 2007, various defective remarked SIDs started appearing on eBay as supposedly "new" chips. All of these remarked SIDs have a defective filter, but some also have defective channels/noise generators, and some are completely dead.<ref>[http://kevtris.org/Projects/sid/remarked_sids.html Remarked SID Chips Sold as New]</ref>
