This information is intended to be a resource for doing DIY, repaneling, and/or repairs on 5UMU systems. The panels are made using 1.5mm (0.062") aluminium, which is thinner than that used for [[MOTM parts#Blank panels|MOTM front panels]]. They're strengthened by the sides being bent over to form flanges.
