Popular Electronics was an American electronics magazine that was created by Ziff-Davis publishing in 1954. In January 1973, it merged with Electronics World magazine and continued to be published under its original name till October 1982. From November 1982 the magazine was renamed as Electronics & Computers which published till April 1985, when it temporarily cease publication.

In January 1989 the Popular Electronics title was ressurected, this time owned by Gernsback publications. This version ceased publishing in December 1999, returning as Poptronics after merging with Electronics Now. The final issue was January 2003
