A wiki is a collaboratively edited website which allows its users to add, modify, or delete its content via a web browser using a simplified markup language.[1]

With an openly accessible wiki don't expect someone else to edit on your behalf, e.g. by requesting something to be added or fixed. The idea is that you do the editing yourself.
