A plea for images
The wiki especially lacks informative images to illustrate articles. Please if you can release any useful relevant images under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike licence or into public domain, then upload them to Wikimedia Commons with category Synth DIY and add a notification/link here. Run the the WikiTeam Python script dumpgenerator.py from the command-line to get an XML (with edit histories) dump and a dump of all images plus their descriptions. Full instructions are at the WikiTeam tutorial. Also make a list of installed extensions that are used on the wiki. These provide the wiki with extra functionality.
