Revision as of 19:26, 10 August 2014

The Yamaha DB50XG was a daughterboard, released in 1996, that fitted to the 26 pin WaveBlaster expansion port, adding a polyphonic MIDI compliant wavetable sampler.[1] The board is self-contained and easily adapted to create a polyphonic MIDI synthesizer.

Compatible boards

  • NEC XR385 - Doesn't support the hidden QS300 mode of the DB50XG/DB60XG.[2]
  • Roland SCD-10
  • Roland SCD-15
  • Yamaha DB60XG
