Jack Sockets 3.5mm

To mount sockets and controls directly on the PCB, and to have the PCB parallel to the front panel you need specific vertical mount sockets.

These are like rocking horse poo. Hard to find. Options include:

  • TruConnect PJ-360 (stereo, no thread)
  • Jalco YK21-5157 and variations. 10.5mm high versions and in mono, see Jalco website. No thread though.
  • Cliff doepfer use these, what part number?
  • PJ-301B see http://erthenvar.com/store/ (US)
  • Lumberg 1502 03 whilst it looks like a chassis socket with solder tags, this actually has a PCB template too Farnell
