It is hoped that any serious mathematics content contributor will be thoroughly familiar with LaTeX. Otherwise to generate equations use the CodeCogs LaTeX Equation Generator.

LaTeX formulae

SDIY wiki supports embedding mathematical formulas using <math>...</math> tags and for non-complex formulas the math template {{math|...}}. The briefly seen red error message: Failed to parse (Missing <code>texvc</code> executable. Please see math/README to configure.) etc. is due to server lag and does not indicate a real problem.

It can easily be seen, by polynomial expansion, that the following equation is equivalent to the quadratic equation:

Charts
