Home & Studio Recording or H&SR magazine was was a spin-off magazine to Electronics & Music Maker, it's first issue in September 1983 actually being given away with E&MM and fully released with the November 1983 issue. Although the magazine was predominately focused on Home recording systems, it did publish a number of DIY and informative articles. The magazine ceased publication in May/June 1994.

Electronic music projects

The Tanrak series of articles described a rack based multi-effects system designed for home studio use. These were also sold as complete modules by the Tanrak company, via adverts in the magazine.
