* It struck me that deriving an output of the staircase generator would also be useful. To do this, a buffer is required. I've put in an example on the schematic diagram, in grey. These components are NOT on the original version of the PCB. The CV input selects the number of steps the staircase will climb before resetting to the beginning. This is included on the Rev 1.1 boards.
* A 10 to 22 ohm resistor can be used instead of the ferrite bead. If you don't care about power-rail noise, just use a link instead.
