Dieter Döpfer
Dieter Döpfer began developing audio hardware in 1977 with a voltage controlled phaser module for the Formant analog modular synthesizer from Elektor magazine.[1]
The company Doepfer Musikelektronik GmbH was founded in 1977 by Dieter Döpfer and has its main office in Gräfelfing, Germany. [2]
The Doepfer A-100 is the system that restarted the modular market in the early 1990's.[3]
